The Circus Train

A lot of the circuses from the late 1800's to July 1956, traveled by rail.  In July 1956, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Baily Circus folded their tents for the last time.  The last of the rail circuses.

Wilson Bros. Circus is a railroad show.  We do not model after any one era.  You will see everything from horse drawn wagons to tractor pulled ones; Mack Trucks to more modern trucks.  This mixture is done on purpose to show the different types of equipment used over the years.  On this page you will see some of the over 40 railroad cars and on the wagon page are closeups of some of the over 100 wagons and trucks.
